Ko Kaeo Yai, a small island near the southwest end of Phuket Island, had this large sitting Buddha and a wat. There appeared to be a small community, perhaps religious in nature, living on this island. We passed by on our way from busy Ao Chalong to the relative quiet of Nai Harn bay.
